The TAL-3100R is highly customizable with 7 different optional add-ons (descriptions listed below).

If you are interested in customizing the base model with more than one add-on you must call in your order at (330) 334-6406 to discuss your needs with a service representative.  Please be aware that the TAL-3100R can have any combination of add-ons with the exception that the Tapered Product Carriage and the Front / Back Labeler cannot coincide on the same base unit.

General Overview:

Available for over 20 years, the Take-A-Label TAL-3100R Round Product Label Applicator continues the commitment of Take-A-Label to provide intelligent and economical solutions in semi-automatic round product labeling systems.  This uniquely designed versatile applicator will accommodate a full range of round products, from 1/4” to 6” in diameter.  The "open carriage"™ design allows the applicator to apply labels to products of virtually any length using one standard unit.  When the TAL-3100R is activated, a pneumatic cylinder lowers the feed head and begins to rotate the bottle.  The label is applied with precision, leaving no air bubbles for a professional look.

Optional Add-Ons:

• Clear Label Photo Cell: if you are using clear labels this photo cell is required.

• Front / Back Labeling: this add-on allows you to print two labels at once providing a label on the front and back of the product.

• 7” Wide Label Kit

• All-Purpose Carriage: this add-on provides greater flexibility and adjustability than the standard bottle carriage.  It is especially useful for larger bottles or containers that have lips or ridges that can affect how the bottle rotates in the carriage.

• Tapered Product Carriage: this add-on allows labels to be applied evenly when the product being labeled is tapered.

• Smart Jet Inkjet Printer: the Smart Jet Inkjet Printer will print on virtually any label stock. This printer is a great solution when you need to add an expiration date, a batch code or other information to a label prior to application. Using a wireless keyboard the printer is easily programmed. Using trusted Hewlett Packard technology and capable of printing up to 6 lines of information the Smart Jet Inkjet is a great solution for coding your label.  Printer only prints while the label roll is moving.

• Reciprocating Ink Coder: the Reciprocating Ink Coder allows you to imprint an alphanumeric code on the label prior to application to the product.  This is commonly used for batch codes, expiration dates, or lot codes.  Printing can be adjusted to print horizontal or vertically.  The Reciprocating Ink Coder is similar to the Smart Jet Inkjet Printer except the imprinting is done with a stamp.
